A calm place to read
your retirement papers
We sit with you — not to advise, but to help you read, understand, and take notes on your own pension and retirement documents, at a pace that suits you.
What We Offer
Three ways to spend time with your documents
Each session is shaped around reading comprehension and personal organisation — not financial or legal advice. You leave with your own notes, your own understanding.
Retirement Paperwork Reading Companion
Small-group sessions of ninety minutes each, held weekly. You bring your pension and retirement paperwork; a facilitator helps with vocabulary and reading comprehension — not personal advice.
- Four ninety-minute sessions over four weeks
- Small groups — typically four to six participants
- Personal notes written by you during each session
- No personal financial or legal advice given
Information Sheet Library Access
A curated collection of published information sheets on retirement topics — public-source documents, government brochures, and educational booklets. Staff help you find and read documents; they do not interpret them as individual advice.
- Ongoing subscription with monthly renewal
- Printed and bound documents on request
- Wide range of Thai and international sources
- Reading assistance from trained library staff
Retirement Day-Planning Workshop
A practical two-day workshop on the everyday organisation of retired life — community engagement, hobbies, family scheduling, and home logistics. No savings or pension decisions are addressed.
- Two full days of structured planning sessions
- Personal weekly plan template to take home
- Community resource list compiled during workshop
- Focus on daily life — not financial planning
Why Quiet Years
What makes the reading room different
Reading, not advising
Our facilitators are trained in reading support and document comprehension — not financial planning. That distinction protects you and keeps sessions genuinely educational.
Small, unhurried groups
Sessions are kept small so that every participant has space to read at their own pace and ask questions without pressure. No one is left behind.
Your notes, your understanding
You write your own notes in your own words. By the end of each session you hold a record of what you read and what it meant to you — not a summary from someone else.
A calm physical space
Our reading room in Silom is quiet, well-lit, and designed for concentration. No distractions, no sales environment — just a table, good light, and the time to read carefully.
Thai and international documents
We work with pension paperwork from Thai government sources and from overseas providers. If you have documents from multiple countries, we can read those alongside you too.
Clear scope, no hidden agenda
We do not sell financial products, refer to advisers for commission, or benefit from your pension decisions. The service begins and ends with educational reading support.
